Couture Meets Production Excellence at the UBS House of Craft x Dior

When the UBS House of Craft x Dior exhibition made its Asian premiere in Singapore, it arrived as one of the most anticipated cultural moments of 2025. Visionnaire was entrusted as the event management partner to bring this landmark showcase to life at the New Art Museum Singapore. Over three days, from 21 to 23 November, the exhibition drew regional attention for its rare access to haute couture history, its expanded Singapore-exclusive components, and its immersive program of talks, demonstrations and creative dialogue.

At the heart of the exhibition was an unprecedented presentation of more than eight decades of Dior’s legacy. Curated by Carine Roitfeld, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, and photographed by Brigitte Niedermair, the exhibition offered a narrative journey through the maison’s defining eras—from the revolutionary New Look of 1947 to the visions of its seven artistic successors: Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri, with a special tribute to Kim Jones.

The Singapore edition featured several expansions unique to this regional debut, including newly unveiled works and a room dedicated to Christian Dior. It showcased original sketches, including designs referencing Singapore, and offered intimate insight into the creative foundations that shaped the Dior universe. Additional displays traced Dior’s longstanding cultural exchange with Asia, spotlighting silhouettes and techniques inspired by regional craft traditions.

Visionnaire’s role spanned end-to-end event strategy, spatial planning, museum coordination, guest flow design, technical production and on-ground execution. Working closely with UBS, Dior and the House of Craft creative teams, Visionnaire ensured the exhibition narrative and visitor experience were delivered with the same precision associated with haute couture craftsmanship. From custom-build gallery installations and archival-safe display structures to the technical staging of photographic works, every detail was orchestrated to uphold the aesthetic codes of the Maison and the high standards of both presenting partners.

Beyond the exhibition itself, Visionnaire also facilitated the integrated public programme, which included intimate panels and couture demonstrations. Highlights included live showcases by artisans—Marie Leroux of Atelier Flou and Yassin Kavak of Atelier Tailleur—who opened a window into the disciplined artistry of Dior’s ateliers. Talks by Roitfeld, Niedermair and Perrine Scherrer, Director of Dior Heritage, provided deeper insight into the maison’s archival preservation and the philosophy of haute couture as a living craft. Visionnaire oversaw all staging, AV design and logistics for these sessions, ensuring an immaculate extension of the exhibition’s story.

The result was an exhibition that not only honoured Dior’s artistic legacy but also reflected UBS’ House of Craft ethos—craft as a universal language linking couture, horology, art and the precision of wealth stewardship. With thousands of visitors across its three-day run and strong international media coverage, the Singapore edition set a new benchmark for cultural showcases in the region. Visionnaire is proud to have played a key role in bringing this cross-disciplinary global collaboration to life.
